Ah. The 'closet'.
We made that out of canvas so that the space was flexible. (If you have bigger stuff under it it can push the canvas up vs something that is rigid). The bottom of the recess is on top of the wheel well.
We used the recess for all the bedding stuff, which would fill the recess to about level with the bed and on top of the bedding we would put other obtuse stuff (We used clear totes for clothing and would stow then in there or the kid carrier etc. We found that a much better use of the space rather than the SMB typical closet which was the first rendition we had. The space was just too micro managed and made loading and unloading the van a pain. Also, note the picture from the back. The bed support is cantilevered so below the bed is a wide open space rather than having the vertical support that SMB has. I found the space between the SMB bed support and left side of the van was hard to access and wasted a bunch of space, so I welded up a truss frame instead and can fit way more crap back there.

I ended up making a cart that holds all 5 drawers, Fridge stuff and 2 clothes totes so we could quickly unload the van and take it all in and out of the house.

Also, all the steel and canvas parts come out in about 3-5 minutes if Utility of a cargo van is needed.

Hey Guys. The interest has be awesome!
For some reason I got a bunch of PMs last week and didn't get emailed about them until today.

Anyways, I taking the van in for an inspection Monday for an interested out of state party. If all goes well I assume it will be sold. If not I'll be back on the Forums.
