2006 E250 RB50 Style 2wd FOR SALE
I have a 2006 e250 2wd RB50 5.4l Manual Penthouse top for sale.
83k miles. The van is the high end model Cargo (XLT?) with Cruise Power mirrors, windows, locks, and power drivers seat with lumbar.
The chassis is stock with the following changes:
Geolander 265/75r16 on 1.5" spaces to match the front track
Hellwig rear sway bar
New Bilstiens ~2k miles (Worked wonders that even my wife noticed)
New MOOG front sway bar bushings
SMB did the top and the bench seat/sleeper; I did the build in a higher quality manner in my opinion.
CRL frameless windows in the typical RB50 layout
Custom black powdercoated bumper with swing out rear tire and bike rack. Swing arm also has a 2" hitch receiver for accepting standard bike racks and accessories (NOT FOR TOWING).
Fiamma F45 awning on Elis stainless brackets
Under body storage compartment behind drivers door.
135w kyrocera panel with a blueskys controller and a 200ah AGM battery (frame mounted) are more than enough to power the Dometic CR1080 refer and keep thing frozen.
450 CFM Fantastic vent is more than enough to keep the inside cool. (SMB messed up on the top and this van has 2 tie down hooks in the back, thus freeing up the perfect spot for the fan)
Radio has been changed to a 1 Factory Radio with a AUX jack installed and the front speakers are upgraded to JBL. Radio runs off House battery.
The interior is finished in maple applyply, steel tubing and corian countertops, Bar sink and pull out kitchen facet. LED cove lighting and florescent light mounted to the top.
There are quick connects for the externally mounted insta hot water heater which feed the sink as well as the external shower and a 20 Gal (Maybe 25; gotta check receipts) water tank mounted where the spare tire used to be.
Van has standard wear for age and mileage (Windshield has a crack). Also the inside has a couple unfinished projects:
Pantry backsplash by the sink was going to be back painted Acrylic with uplight
The penthouse bed is in working prototype form. Way lighter and easier to deploy than the SMB version as well as takes up way less space. I used 2" Thermarests as the cushion. We are tall and preferred the extra head space as well.
Probably forgetting something
Make an offer. Thinking 21k Obo

Thanks for the comments. I couldn't have built it without this forum.

The space behind the drives seat Interior is just a place to shove stuff. My wife usually took it over with water bottles, books, magazines and purse as she could easily reach it from the passenger side.
FWIW the space under the fridge is for the propane stove.
The exterior space behind the drivers seat is under body storage. I had a sheet metal guy build a galvanized box that fits between the rocker panel and the frame. I use it to store all the things you don't really want on the inside (Jack, 4-way, come-along, chains, etc)

I assumed he meant the space in this photo. If not, then what is this space for?.......
