2006 Sportsmobile 4 x 4 Ford Diesel - 76,000 miles

Tried selling this rig a few months ago and took it off the market to try and keep it. Another kid later, and its back on... I lowered the price to sell.

2006 Ford RB E350 Diesel 4x4
Price: $62,000
Miles: 76,000
Engine: Diesel
Seats: 5-9, Sleeps: 4
Cabinets: Sink, Microwave, Refrigerator
Interior Color: White
Top: Pop-Top w/Bed

Rare "Transformer" SMB package. The lower level bed can go from a storage/bed, to adding seating for 3-4 people. Built by SMB.

- Has new front locking hubs
- New Batteries
- 12,000 lbs winch
- Microwave, Sink, Refrigerator
- Thule roof rack
- Hella Lights
- Alluminess Front and rear bumpers
- Engine was bulletproofed by previous owner
- Has Edge tuner installed

Love this thing, but I bought it prematurely. Just had another kid and am having to sell. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm interested if this is still available. I am not able to PM due to being new. I'm from NorCal.

Hi all - Thanks for the interest!

Took the ad down as I had my rig inspected by a local 4wd shop. They said the dreaded heads are leaking.... I was told by SMB they work with a shop near their factory that can do it for around 10k. From what I was told by the previous owner it was "bullet proofed". What he is now saying is there was "bullet proofing done". So the EGR was replaced and the head bolts were replaced by the factory but there was not any additional bolts added.... I guess i should have asked for the proper documentation when I bought it.

Any case, the rig needs fixed. Still runs good but it has the leak. Id be willing to drop the price to 52k for it, but any less, ill just get it fixed and keep it.

I have attached some photos. email me at csindlinger@gmail.com if you have any additional questions.

Where is the van located?

$10K is ridiculous. There are better options.

If nothing else, there's Ken Imler Diesel in Sacramento. There are probably qualified shops closer to you, but I mention Imler only because I know them off the top of my head, and I've used them before.

$10K sounds like a lot. I don't think anything magical needs to be done with head studs unless running a very aggressive tune (or a cooler is plugged). Even a tuned E350 probably doesn't put out the power of an untuned F350.

Just out of curiosity...how many kids do you have? Anymore pics of the inside? I don't know what a transformer SMB is...

Thanks
