We have up for sale a 2008 Chevrolet 5500 series transport bus. It comes equipped with an 8-cylinder Duramax diesel engine paired with an Allison automatic transmission. It is white with grey and black interior, cold air conditioning and an AM/FM/CD stereo system. It also has cold rear air (see photos). Surprisingly, it also gets much-better-than-you-would-think fuel mileage for its size! It was originally used as a prisoner transport bus thus the wire cages. They are on a slide system, as well as the seats, and can be easily removed. It has incredibly low miles for the year model with only 72,754. It runs out great with absolutely no problems. It is clean and in great shape plus it has a like-new set of matching regroovable tires and a new NC inspection. It seats 24 people so it could be used as a party limo with some added graphics, a church bus or could be retrofitted into a really nice big camper! The vehicle would also make an excellent work vehicle as some type of mobile business, such as pet grooming or a food truck. The possibilities are endless with this one! We are asking $19,995 but may entertain very reasonable offers.
