Okay, the details.

Was initially a Sportsmobile handicap van. All the lift and accessories have been removed by the previous owner who was 2nd in command and had it a mere 3-4 months. I am 3rd owner and have had it about a year and a half.

Very nice body, no rust, one small dent behind the gas filler if you can see it in the pic and wrinkle on the faux chrome on passenger side from uv I'd guess. Roof is fiberglass and was rough when I purchased, has been coated with Henry's tropicool silicone roof sealer, two coats. Will never leak or need maintenance again. There is a Maxx fan roof air vent installed in place of the a/c, though the AC wiring is still there if another roof air was desired, though it shouldn't be needed with the factory rear a/c which works fine. There are no leaks, musty smells, animal smells, or tobacco smoke smell.

Fresh engine oil change with Baldwin filter, transmission fluid has been changed by me, front wheel bearings repacked, rear end fluid topped up, spare tire is original and good, all inside accessories work as they should.

From the factory:

6.8l V10 engine
5 spd aod with tow/haul mode
3.73 limited slip
Commercial cargo van package, incl power group, remote keyless entry, spd control
exterior upgrade package
captains chairs
traction control
glass fixed rear and side
9500# gvwr package
reverse sensing system
trlr tow package class 2,3,4.
insulation package
chrome rear step bumper

I've added Hellwig Big Wig front and rear sway bars, Balancemasters wheel balancers all corners, front receiver hitch, running boards, Natures Head composting toilet installed, unused. Tekonsha trailer brake controller installed with factory 7 way trailer plug works good.

The couch was initially split and has been recoonfigured to the drivers side and now is 7' long and folds for sleeping, two people if you're close friends.

The passenger side rear wall covering was removed and 1/4" plywood installed and attached to the bracing with matching interior paint. The D rings can be used for anchor points.

There is also a passenger side rear battery that is used to power the roof fan and overhead lights and exhaust fan for the Nature's Head toilet, charged by the engine alternator.

Across the scales with one driver and about 3/4 tank fuel weighs 6960#.

I'll add to the description as I remember things.

There is a new chassis battery within the last few months.

The OEM driveshaft was replaced with a larger diameter aluminum piece.

This is a really nice van and needs nothing, fly in, Amtrak in, or bus in and drive it home. The gearing is great for highway cruising and what I wanted it for, to go places and take the bikes, just not doing the travelling I thought I would. The high top is nice also.

I have more pics so if there is something in question just ask. If the price is out of wack let me know and the comparison or reasoning though I think it is a pretty fair price for what you are getting. I see Ford vans come up for sale with 300k miles so the durability is there. As a friend says, you can't kill a Ford.

The hood was blacked out for sun glare. Noticeable difference.

Thank you man. I thought it is a fair price, hard to tell sometimes. It will make somebody a good van.

Here’s s pic of the Avion I pulled back. It has displaced the van, and to get the van back in the shop will require some moving around of stuff and I don’t want to leave the van outside.

Tires are Michelin, dated 2017 & 18, so I'd guess they were put in service in 2018. Still lots of tread, not in any danger of needing to be replaced any time soon. Brakes are in good shape also. New air filter within my ownership timeframe.

'08 was the model year change for Ford. They updated the bodywork, new grill with larger opening. The suspension was also redesigned, the bumpsteer that plagued earlier models was taken care of.

Inside max height is 5'9".

If you have tried the email above and never got a response, I probably didn't get the email. Here is another one to decode--mbrook s54atg maildotc om.

Also, if you don't want the Nature's Head composting toilet, I can remove it and deduct an appropriate $1000 from the price.
