The guy repairing it was a Ford Fleet mechanic for 15 years working on heavy duty trucks and vans. He gave it a good rating otherwise.

What a deal!

Sweet, that's way cheaper than what I was finding - although I don't remember details as it was a few years back.
Edit: Looks like Ford factory remanufactured is $3800.

In case no one noticed, the interior has the Adrian Steele kit, that's like 1200 bucks right there.

Also, there is a front axle assembly with 4.30s here locally at LKQ for 1430. I'm sure that's without brakes but that's still a good deal.

Ha! Truth! Anyone with the know how should make and sell these for $200 a set and still get rich. Just like the RTIC vs. Yeti debate. I think Bushwackers are a racket but I sure do love em. Hey, speaking of which, anyone got a cheap set for sale?
Just FYI, my Jasper replacement in my blue van, which I did NONE of the work on due to the circumstance then, was right around $5k. Would I do that again? Not in a million years. There are cheaper options.

I prefer icehole coolers...
Someone should buy this and have MG put an Ecoboost in it. I know MG wants his engine gone but I'm sure he'd enjoy doing a Cummins install and an Ecoboost install at the same time!
