95' RB Custom Penthouse 4x4 - Only 50K miles

Better known as Rusty!

As much as it pains my heart I'm in a situation where I need to go a different direction. Good news: my girlfriend and her dog have seen the light and have decided that my van adventures are as cool as I say they are after seeing it in person. Bad news: van excursions are not a problem, van LIVING (city dwelling), a little tight. So I'm putting Rusty back on the market and going EB.

1995 Ford E350
7.5L 460 V8 Engine
Only 50K miles! (my daily driver and weekend adventurer so that will increase)
Quigley 4x4 + Leaf Springs and RIP Kit from Agile + Air Bags
Manual Penthouse Top
Custom walk through layout with tons of storage
Amazing amount of features and upgrades

Asking 37,500 OBO

I'm going to get more details, pictures, the original build links, and a CL link in here later. I just wanted to get this post up while I was feeling strong enough to start the process

More Details:

The van is located in San Diego but in 3 weeks if it hasn't sold it will make it's way to Atlanta, GA for good. It will still be for sale...probably

You can contact me here, or text/call 404-310-7719 (Austin's my name)

I've had the rig for almost 2 months now and it has been a LOT of places (Arches NP, Moab, Yosemite, CO, AZ, NV, dunes/beaches/mtns in CA) already. Super capable, easy to drive, 4x4 battle tested.

Goodies (I'm 100% sure I'm forgetting things)

There is much more but I'm tired of typing. This should be enough to know whether you are interested or not. Just let me know and we can talk it out. Also, search the forum for "Rusty" and you'll find 3 links following the ENTIRE build. Only rig you'll get that type of history on.

Cheers!

That's a top-quality SMB!!!
Sincerely sorry to hear you've got to pass it along so soon....man, that seems like a super-solid rig for the price.

And talk about SMB-community pedigree ----
....with the sheer number (and quality!) of 86Scotty's posts for Rusty over the years about how he built it, that seems like it's got to be in the running to be one of the best-documented (and admired) SMB's....perhaps....ever

Thanks guys, yeah I'm getting progressively sicker to my stomach about this. Anybody know how to afford 2 SMB's haha. I was thinking of keeping it and renting one but that defeats the purpose doesn't it?

Fishingman, feel free to call or text me friend. I'm out and about all day but happy to chat. Pics and CL link below.

Here is the CL ad with some more pics. I would prefer to sell here hence the price difference. $1000 fee for CL knuckleheads.

Just curious about the increase in price from the sale a few weeks ago.
8/6/16: "Price is 35K but I will reduce the price to 32K if I can sell it before Aug 31st to a forum member."

Were there additional modifications done that I didn't read about in any of the numerous "Rusty" posts?

Different seller. Nomadic Neophyte purchased it from SLACKER who purchased it from 86Scotty. Poor van needs a forever daddy!
