Aluminess Ford Van Swing Out Tire Carrier

We recently bought a 2004 E350EB Sportsmobile. The original owner left the OEM bumpers and put on an Aluminess swing out tire carrier to make room for the large storage locker under the rear of the van. We ended up installing the Aluminess bumper with tire carrier plus the storage box, so we have this removed from the van.

It is in perfect shape. The van had under 30,000 miles on it when we bought it a month ago and lived in a heated garage. You would probably need to replace the hinge pin/bolt that it connects to on the van door upper hinge, but otherwise it is complete.

This is the Aluminess description and installation instructions for the carrier:

https://www.aluminess.com/ford/ford-...07-tire-racks/

Pictures of the actual one we have for sale below.

We have it in Denver, CO. I'm not sure about shipping. If a buyer wants it shipped, I can go get it professionally packaged and shipped, but I have no idea how much that would be and would have to be at the buyer's expense.

Looks like they are $825 new. Not sure what to ask, so I'll start at $500/BO.

If interested, call me at (303) 3one9 - 5six38

Garage
Price might help those that may be interested. GLWS should last to long if priced right.

This will sell quickly, but I didn't see an asking price listed.

To Prospective Buyers - make sure to get the spacer plate that goes on the passenger side to space out the bumper. I did not see that in the picture.

This is correct. Looking at the installation instructions, this is bolted between the OEM bumper and the frame, so there is a spacer on the passenger side. I don't have it, but will check with Aluminess to see if they have the one that was removed.

Only my second post and screwed up already. Edited the original post to add an asking price. I'm definitely negotiable and need to see if Aluminess has the plate they removed with mine or if they have the plate available separately.

I’ve been looking for a long time. I’m in LA if shipping isn’t too much of a hassle I’ll put my name down first and see what we can work out. Thx Tito

What is the mounting plate wheel spec? It will be 8x6.5in or 8x170mm.

The plate itself can be changed (purchased from Aluminess) if not the correct one for your wheel spec. You can mount the spare only if it is the correct plate for your wheel lug pattern. (Threads are different between the two lug specs, as well)

Stock E Series wheel lug pattern were 8x6.5in lug pattern (except for some E150’s ??). The 4x4 conversions can be 8x6.5 or 8x170mm depending on which conversion company and what year the conversion was done.
