Garage
Think its great there are several individuals like you out there, If I was in need of transporting a Rig I certainly would prefer to go with someone familiar with these beasts as well as having experience providing the service. But I do have a suggestion (for all those that provide this service), since the Search function on this Forum is a little challenged I would start a thread with the Heading something more specific to the Service... Like "Van Transporting and Delivery".
Would be easier for the rest of us to direct people to individuals like yourself, without trying to recall who all those members are.
Just a suggestion

Agree. Stoked you're in San Clemente, you can drive all my vans home to me.

How many vans you got? If I had to guess would say 5 and they’re parked all around your neighborhood and you tell your wife it’s just a coincidence haha

Do you personally own a Sportsmobile? Do you have current forum member references?

I have 4 right now. Had to find a place to store them so the neighbors don’t get suspicious. But when they’re rented out, then I’m paying to store air. Trying to work out a deal to get some newer ones.

10/4 just messin with you, didn’t know you had a little rental gig goin.do you allow people to go offroad with your vans? You should do a thread on it,I’m sure there’s members that would like to bring some family and friends out on some of their adventures, this could be the ticket.

That’s a good idea! We let people go wherever. They are all 2wd, so you can’t get too crazy, but California is mostly dirt roads anyway, so there’s not a ton of rock crawling to do. Plus, if you get stuck, you’re on your own. We had one dude get stuck in the pismo dunes and it cost him like $400 to get pulled out. Luckily he didn’t drown the thing or the insurance would’ve taken him to the cleaners.

Hello
I am another option. I am a 7 year SMB owner, and have driven 6 other vans for different members that will vouch for me, and tried to tow one but with misarabl results. I do not charge for my time as long as it's a personal van not commercial move, just pay expenses. I am in the SoCal area.
Thanks
Don
