Big Red

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and wanted to share my van that is up for sale. It's not a sportsmobile so I'm not sure if this is the correct venue. Feel free to email me feedback or offers. Thank you!

Look at this on eBay

2006 Ford E-Series Van

Side note, everytime i see an aluminess bumper/ladder/rack custom powdercoated to match the van I cringe. This is ofcourse just my opinion, probably because I like the contrast of the black so much.

Yes, unfortunately Javier aka crows 4x4 vans have a bad rep. Lots of folks including myself have seen all kinds of failures with them, as well as top Converters like Chris a Ujoint have documented the shabby work (he has a FB page dedicated to the bad work). They look amazing but the 4x4 conversion doesn't have the safety or reliability of other 4x4 converters. To be honest it will be a hard sale with this group any other converter and it wouldn't. It's a beautiful van but the down side is the 4x4 swappers rep. GLWS, like I said it's a amazing van. Lots on nice aftermarket products.

I appreciate the heads up. Wish I'd seen this forum before. My van was checked out and the work looked solid.

Nice looking van. Why are you selling it? Was the engine bulletproofing done before you bought it or did you do it after?

Thank you! I had it done as soon as I bought it. It wasn't showing any symptoms but for piece of mind I invested about 11k into having it completely bulletproofed. Selling it because my son will be driving soon and I need to swap the vacation van for a commuter car.

i previously owned a javier van. i know they get a bad rap, but mine was great, except the slight bump steer, which needed addressing. his shop had the panhard (track) bar angle just a bit off. needed to be about 1/2" lower on the frame side to fix the issue. it looked like there was room on his bracket to just drill a new hole to fix that.

the welds and brackets were strong. the frame buckled (bad) behind the radius arm mount when i crashed, and the front tire hit a boulder, but none of the welds on his bracketry was broken or even appeared cracked. must have made some changes to his process...but it may be a crap shoot on whether you get a good one or not.

nice looking van. GLWS!
