brand new 4" diamond eyes downpipe fits 99-03 ford e-series with 7.3L

brand new 4" diamond eyes downpipe fits 99-03 ford e-series with 7.3L.

never installed.

i bought the full exhaust system, but had to use the f-series downpipe for my f-series turbo.

the rest of the exhaust is straight 4" sections, until it passes over the rear axle, so it would give one a head start on a cheap custom exhaust system.

$40 plus shipping.

Did you go with the F-series turbo for better performance?

yes sir. went with the f-series turbo to get the smaller turbine housing. no options out there for the van turbo for turbine housings. i did it mainly to spool it sooner, without forcing a downshift to climb hills. works great! need to get all my gauges in so i can monitor EGT once tuned. still running on the stock tune until i get the gauges in.

So less turbo lag then right? Do you think it changed the hp at all?

Yes, it spools at a lower rpm.

Likely more HP as it also has a billet compressor wheel and the compressor housing is much larger than one on the early 99 turbo:
