Hey guys, I'd appreciate it if you would step back and let the original poster answer my questions. The year DOES matter since he is including the OEM Ford I-beams and they changed the swaybar mounts in '08. Camburg also does not include the I-beams, they bend the existing ones on the customer's vehicle... the OP is selling the I beams from his vehicle that Camburg bent. Being that he is now 4x4, it stands to reason that he no longer needs his 2wd knuckles (that also get modified by Camburg.) I found no reference to the year/model of his vehicle going through his 27 posts, other than the '95 4x4 that had been sold. The OP also said he replaced his rear springs so the buyer was welcome to his old ones.

Thanks,

Jay

I stand corrected. That's what I get for trying to work and surf.

But Camburg modifies the knuckles? I've never heard of that. What do they do?

They just grind the inside edges (facing the I-beams) for clearance. They really only bend the beams 2-3" and then use the double eccentric alignment cams at the upper ball joints to make up for the rest of the change in ride height. Pulling the top of the knuckles inboard that far creates interference, so grinding the inside of the knuckles is necessary. If they were bent further (like I believe Weldtec does?) it wouldn't have to be done.

I'm mostly asking these questions because my friend's van is an E150 and he wouldn't mind making the switch to 8 lug at the same time as installing a lift. If the front hubs/rotors/etc and heavier rear springs are included, it might be enough to convince him to go for it.

Hey thanks for grabbing those questions while I was away guys, very appreciated! You all nailed it for the most part. Admittedly, this is my first swap and I was largely hands off in this process so any super detailed questions I'm directed to the guys at the shop.

This came off of a 2000 Ford E350.

I am not sure if the 2wd knuckles are included or not. I'll have to check with the shop if those are part of the package.

The rear springs can be included but they aren't in the best shape (another leaf or two would have been better for the original application). If that doesn't matter to you great but I want that disclaimer to be clear ahead of time.

This may be sold pending some shipping logistics I'm working out with a member that wants to cover the shipping cost as well.

Thanks again for the help guys!

I'll be very interested to hear what the shipping costs will be. mikracer and I drove half way up and down California to meet up when I bought his kit. Once I saw the kit, I laughed at the thought of having it shipped.

Again, either way, this is a great deal on the kit.
