Clearing some stuff out of my work shop (HAM radio added)

Working on de-cluttering some shelves in my work shop. Let me know if you want any of this. Pick up in San Ramon, CA or buy me a beer at a brew pub not too far from San Ramon and I'll bring to you!

- Kenwood TM281A 144MHz FM Transceiver - $170 OBO - This HAM radio used to be in my Jeep that I got rid of in 2018 and it's been sitting in a drawer ever since. I have the same model installed in my van now and it has been great. Very good condition. Can't seem to find the manual for it but will keep looking. The manual is available online HERE.

- Aluminess box. (SPOKEN FOR) I bought this for $75 many years ago then didn't use it so it's been sitting on the shelf. Hinge is slightly bent but it works fine as is or you could spend about 10 minutes on it making it even better. I don't have a spare key to give you but if you want to make a copy of mine it's the same. Make me an offer. Free is a valid offer if you can make a good case for it.

- Colman lantern. Haven't used it in years. Uses green propane bottle.
Just needs new mantles and good to go. Free

- Headlights from my 2005 E350. Free (SPOKEN FOR)

- Starter from my 2005 E350 6.0 PSD. I upgraded it years ago and this has been sitting in a box. It worked as any other stock 6.0 starter when I removed it. Free

- GasOne butane stove. Used (a lot) but works. I went with a dual fuel version and this just takes up space on the shelf. Free

Too bad I'm on the other Coast Phil - I'd be at your doorstep for that Aluminess box >> Making my "case" with 16/6-packs of beer & nice bottle of Scotch as a chaser!
Very nice offer, and you can make it look new with a couple cans of Rust-Oleum 249844 Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover, Satin Canyon Black (same paint Aluminess uses to touch up their hardware)
That offer isn't going to last long - Very nice gesture!

Sounds like a good "case" except I'd opt for a nice bottle of tequila. I currently like Codigo 1530 Reposado (if anyone is wondering ).

The finish on the box actually isn't too bad. Better than the one on my van now!

I’m interested in that Aluminess box. I’m up in Sonoma County and can come down tequila in hand!

Probably not the right time & place, but you touched on our favorite beverage - have tried many in pursuit of "the one", and a while back stumbled across Maestro Dobel® (but you'd also have to try their other two: Maestro Dobel® Añejo, and Maestro® Diamante). SMOOOOTH !!! We continue to experiment with others we've not yet sampled, but always come back to these.
***Allow me to suggest the lucky recipient of the Aluminess box provide a bottle of each, just so you can compare

SteelheadJones, you are the winner of this fine previously loved Aluminess box! I'm more or less around the rest of the month so just let me know when you want to come get it. I gave up work a few years ago, so no work schedule to consider.

Woot woot! It’s my second early Christmas. Thank you!

My mom is visiting through the weekend but maybe she’ll be up for a drive. If not I’ll shoot for next week.
