Lots of info on the internet about mpg. But if that's a deciding factor on purchasing a 4x4 van then you should probably not even be looking. I have a feeling you not anyway though.

Re: E350 V10 4x4 Chateau Quadvan

V-10 4x4 will actually get better mpg than a gasser V-8 4x4 due to the weight of the Van. The V-8 will work harder moving the rig. In my experience, the V-10 true gas mileage is 11-13 MPG. The Best MPG I got from it was going 60MPH on the flats of Calgary, 18 MPG baby!!!

Just my 2 cents.

Re: E350 V10 4x4 Chateau Quadvan

It's the "going 60MPH" that's the hard part.

actually been looking at diesels. Not gas. I like your van, not your assumptions. I have searched the net and found 8 to 18mpg. I was hoping you would give me your experience. good luck with the sale. Thanks for the answer surfgeek.

Sorry if I came across rude at all. It's just that the "type" of person that is looking for a 4x4 van usually doesn't use MPG at a deciding factor for purchasing or not. It's not a economy type vehicle, hell, not even practical! They are just cool rigs that get bad gas millage.
And yes, they do get anywhere from 8 to 18mpg depending on alot of different scenarios..

Re: E350 V10 4x4 Chateau Quadvan

Winter is here!! I either sell my van or my 62 impala. But the impala is not really an option for me. So, open to offers on my van?
