Fair price for OEM Alloy Wheels and Tires?

Hello SMB members,

Apologies if this is not the correct sub-forum to be posting this, but I'm hoping for some feedback on a fair asking price would be for a set of OEM 5-hole alloy rims + tires, all in excellent condition? I've looked around but it's hard to come by an equivalent example. I see single aluminum rims going for ~$150 on ebay, so would $800 for the set of rims+tires be reasonable?

The reason I ask is because I have a terrible habit of underpricing things, having them sell within 24 hrs, then regretting the fact that I did not price them higher Not looking to rip anyone off or make a huge profit. Just want to strike the right balance.

Don't have detailed photos yet but these are the wheels:

The value is mostly in the tires if they are good. Current date codes, name brand, good tread etc.
The wheels aren’t real desirable in my opinion. I have them on my van! Think I paid 150$ for the set with worn out tires in my area. Seattle.

Selling take-offs is usually a challenge as most people are trying to upgrade to aftermarket units. If the tires and rims are as you describe, I think $800 is very reasonable. After all, I'm sure you'd rather not have to store them for long...

I think tire brand model and size are kind of important to this guesstimate.

For the wheels alone I’d say $300. As others noted, details in the tires are key. Age (look for the DOT date code on the sidewalk), tread depth in 32nds, make and model. I’d say I’d they are OEM street tires in decent shape then the whole package for $500-800 at most. Probably closer to $500.

As a point of reference. I just purchased factory 18” alloys from a 2022 F350 with about 1000 miles of use and Goodyear AT tires. $425. I also have purchases the E-Series Alcoa sets for similar money, but that has been a few years ago. Probably harder to find now.

A lot easier to find F-series take off alloy wheels than E-series. I looked for quite a while for van wheels with the proper bolt pattern when I was upgrading the steelies on one of my old E250s

Thanks everyone for the input thus far! Unfortunately I didn't think to take a look at the tire brand/size/date code before I dropped the van off at storage, but they are very likely the same size as OEM and a similar all-season tread pattern. Good tread remaining.

I'll have to snap some more detailed photos and get the relevant info once I have the van in my possession again.

Where would these wheels be located? I’ve been casually looking for a set and live in Southern California.

They'll be in the Denver, CO area as soon as my van goes on the lift at UJOR CO. Unfortunately I have no idea what the timing is looking like. Sounds like they are having trouble getting Dynatrac parts for the front axles.
