Hi Paul. I'm in Hackensack and interested in the awning if you still have it.

Hi Al,
I have been thinking of keeping it, but let me think on it some more and get back to you. We're pretty near each other, so you'd be the logical choice if I do decide to sell it.
Paul

Ok. Name your price when/if you are ready to sell. In the meantime, I'll keep looking. I had PM'd you my email address.
Best,
Al

Hah! Harrison during the week(PATH train thru JC to WTC on workdays), and Hackettstown on the weekend. There are a couple of people within a stone's throw in eastern NJ, with Nomadcat (but betting more) in the city.

Yeah, the van is our escape pod. My wife, daughter and I head out most weekends and vacation in the Adirondacks, Pine Barrens, Catskills, etc.

We are trying to plan some weekends this year out at the Delaware Water gap, maybe Pennsylvania Deutch country. Just some local stuff for now as I am building out the van. We want to try to do a longer trip to Charleston and possibly the Outer Banks next year, though I wouldn't really categorize that as a wilderness experience.
Would love to hear more about some of your northeast favorite spots, and why..

Great Sacandaga Lake, NY is nice, especially when it's really hot down here. For a quick weekend, try Spruce Run in NJ. Camp Plymouth VT is a longer haul but gorgeous if you can get a premium spot in the early fall.
