For Sale--2001 Ford E250 Sportsmobile RB50 - Virginia

For Sale--2001 Ford E250 Sportsmobile RB50.

We are the original owners and live in Northern Virginia near Washington, DC. This van has been all over North America including Alaska and the Artic Circle (a fabulous trip!) We also camped at many music festivals. We are sorry to see this go, but our lifestyle is changing and we don't camp as much as we did in the past.

The van is very clean inside and out. One small dent in left side door which I believe this was caused by a falling branch which also cracked the front windshield (replaced.) No smoking, no kids, no pets, no accidents except for front bumper replacement when I hit something a little too hard.

Here are some of the features:

Pop-up Penthouse
Bench seat that converts to bed for two
Refrigerator
Sink and faucet
Fresh water tank
Privacy shades and curtain
Power and water connections
Windshield sun screen
Lots of storage space
Swiveling seats
Dinning table
Class III trailer hitch and brake controller
Rear radio switch
Marine auxillary battery
New Sony Bluetooth/USB radio and Polk speakers
Various reading lights
Ford and Sportmobile manuals.

Ford Van Mechanical Info

Because we didn't want to breakdown in some remote area (and we never did!), we always kept the van well maintained and ahead of failures. Overall I have been impressed with the reliability of this Ford. All service records available.

Triton 5.4 V-8 Engine
2WD
128,000 miles
Passed Virginia emissions and annual inspection 3/2017
Good tread on all four newish tires (8/32 or 9/32)
Oil/filter change, fuel line replaced 5/2017
All shock assemblies replaced, radius arm bushing, new radiator hose and system flushed 4/2016 ($1,600!)
Last fuel filter 119,000 miles
Fan belt replaced at 104,000 miles

Price: I will be interested in hearing what this forum thinks this van is worth. I have seen some pretty high prices on vans older than mine. On my local Craigslist, there is a 2003 Westfalia with 112,000 miles with an asking price of $28,000 and a 1971 one for $15,000! I think my van should be worth in the low 20,000's. I would take the best offer over $20,000.

My van is sold. I cannot edit or delete my post. I think this is an odd way for a forum to operate.
