For Sale: 2003 Sportsmobile RB E350

Hi Everyone!
Time to formally list my SMB on this Forum.

History: I bought it in Dec 2013/Jan 2014 through SMB West from an elderly retired southern California judge and his wife who used it for day photography trips to Yosemite. They never slept in it! He had it custom built at SMB West. He put about 5K miles/year on it. I have all maintenance records and receipts, manuals, original invoice, etc. I bought it with 39K miles. Since I traveled solo, I have kept it in pristine condition and always have serviced/maintained it and replaced worn out parts as if I was going to keep it forever. It has been a pleasure to own. It won't be ideal for everyone because it SLEEPS ONE on the dinette that is 30"X68". There is also the hallway floor to sleep on, which I tried and was totally doable. I don't want to sell, but the next phase of camping/exploring will be off grid with my husband. This SMB has never been off pavement except for gravel parking lots or driveways. It is in excellent condition and ready for the next owner.

Here's the main details:
One ton chassis - RB E350, 4X2
V-10, 6.8L Ford engine, 58,350 miles
14-16 mpg at 65 mph fully loaded
Voyager top - never leaked and recently professionally resealed
4 KW Onan generator - 66+ hours, serviced yearly and run monthly
Starcool A/C - Cold A/C - one new fan
Recent chassis battery and 27 AGM battery
Recent front and rear shocks
Black/gray/fresh tanks
Marine toilet with vanity, mirror, sink
Professionally winterized
Recent fantastic fan
Electric H20 heater with bypass - replaced by original owner
Recent Michelin MS2 tires with 90k warranty
Trailer hitch - only used for Stowaway cargo carrier (200 lbs max)
Four seat belts - two in cab and two on dinette seats in rear
NO propane or shower
Interior LED and flourescent lights
Carpet and marine grade vinyl
Kitchen sink with generous amount of counter, plus drop down counter
Microwave
2.7 cu. ft. DC refrig
Closet plus overhead storage
SLEEPS ONE! Dinette bed is 30" X 68". There is room to sleep on the
long hallway floor.
Stored indoors when not traveling.
$28,000 OBO

Beautiful rig, Gail. Keep posting as it has someone's name written all over it!!!!

I imagine that you have tried other online sites, but you might want to try escapees.com , if you haven't already.

Good luck!

Not my favorite floor plan but, that rig looks super clean and I think that's a pretty good price.

When buying an used SMB, floorplan was my last consideration/priority. I was after chassis/coach condition, previous maintenance, features, and price. In that order. After fulltiming in this van for four months, I think this floorplan is very workable! It sure beat buying a new SMB = $$$$$$!

Love that floorplan, the V10 is a good engine too. Won't last long for someone wanting a 2wd. Good luck!
