No kidding! Prices of vehicles has gone up over the last 6 years. People are paying ridiculous prices for anything “van life” related so sellers and builders taking advantage of the fad.

From memory, at least two on each side and possibly three on the larger bench.

Correct. Supply and demand. Free market economy.....and so on.

Absolutely a seller's market right now in virtually everything worth anything.

People keep saying supply and demand but they are leaving out another factor. Inflation. Things that cost much more than before and the purchasing power of the people is dropping. Used vehicle prices being a noticeable metric.

Just look at the price of the Penthouse in the original 2014 build sheet $6500 vs what, $12k or more now?

Is this still for sale. Has the owner become more realistic on the price if not?

Good luck Charlie! I think you'll get that and pay NO ATTENTION to Wanderer. or even Scooby...members usually don't act so rude when another member is selling their rig...I know to you it is PRICELESS and someone out there will pay even more I am sure...As said so many times...the E series is no more, PH tops for the E Series aren't avail anymore (In indy) b/c of the fiberglass shops closing, the E series has been around (roughly) 50 years and you can get parts about anywhere in the world there's a road. The E Series rig is what people dream about everyday on this Forum... and if your lucky enough to have one now, you can just about charge what you want. I am sure we could get close to our build price as there have been offers just out of the blue even before the Van life craze. As Chad our builder in Huntington said on a recent stop for a few things, "Take care of this, this thing is a goldmine." Again, I'm sorry for the folks that are angry they want a cool van but are stuck in a sellers market that may just last quite a long time with any cool travel van, let alone a decked out 4x4 SMB/Quality home build (even)...can't wait to see the new owners posts pics of the joy of bringing it home and trip reports!!
