UPDATE: Moving along…..made it out to Grover Beach and pulled up to NV FAB this last Monday around noon, Nick pulled it right in and got to work, how’s that for service! Super responsive and kept me in the loop, highly recommend this shop for any custom fab work needs or 4X4 stuff. I’ll add it to the Google maps thread.
Was great to meet and hang out with Royce (rizzabove) for the afternoon to chat vans and swap stories, super nice rig he’s got and really nice work he did on his interior build, anyone with a 7.3 is ok in my book!
Things went smoothly with the lift install and the van went to alignment on Tues and was ready to go by Wednesday afternoon. Only problem was my wheels hadn’t arrived that I ordered up from Americas tire in San Luis Obispo the week prior, 2 of them were coming from the east coast and they weren’t sure when they’d arrive, so I had to choose a similar wheel that was readily available to pick up the next day.

Managed to meet up with Jin (mikracer) for lunch while I was up getting the wheels/tires, was again great to put another face to a name. We’ll get that Baja trip in one of these days!
