Ford stereo upgrade: Kenwood HU/JL Audio speakers-SOLD!!

If anyone is looking for a plug and play system this is the stereo upgrade SMB had installed in my rig in 2005. I'm asking $200 plus shipping.

The system will fit any late model Ford truck or van. Includes a double din dash kit. Here's the specs:

Joe, any idea if that iPod interface will work on an iPad or nearly new IPhone? Ive heard some controllers aren't compatible.

I doubt an Ipad or Iphone would work. But I also couldn't get an Ipad to work on the flagship Alpine HU with Nav to work either. At least to watch a movie.

I realize the HU is not cutting edge anymore but the speakers are still current. The cheapest I can find the front component speakers is $399. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_150 ... 5-570.html

This is an easy plug and play system that will be a significant improvement over anything stock. Or really most any other vehicle that can fit 5x7 speakers.

Does the headunit come with the harness that plugs into the stock wiring?

No, the harness was cut. It's easy enough to wire up a harness but it would be different depending on what vehicle it goes into. A Ford speaker harness is about $12 or $13. It also has the Ford kit to fit the dashboard bezel or double din cutout. So, that saves $20. Some vehicles or newer vehicles after 2007 may need an antennae adapter and the dashboard kit may not fit all Fords. It came out of my 2005 E350 van and should fit most trucks except the F150s.
