Free Bumpers
No, not Aluminess.
I have the stock Ford chrome front and rear bumpers off of my '07 SMB and I'm tired of tripping over them. They were on the rig for two weeks before I went with Aluminess. Just thot I'd offer them to anyone that wants them before they go to the dump.
They're located about an hour northwest of Reno Nevada, and they'll be around till spring if anyone's interested.

Question about the bumpers. Are they off an XL or XLT? In other words; does the front bumper have the plastic facia on it?

Scatter, I never realized that you were in Blairsden. We are in Incline. Let's hook up next spring. I'll show you a couple of our quick getaway places down this way and you can show us a couple of your quick get away places up there. oclv

I'm interested in the bumpers, and I will be heading up to Oroville in about 2weeks +/-. We could swing by Blairsden if they are still available.
Are you at all interested in 'Backcountry Adventures: Southern California'? I'd give it to you for the bumpers.

Well, one mans junk really is another's treasure!
j.whitbread, knowing whether or not the front bumper has a plastic facia or not would require my having a memory. NOT (Hey, the first one that gets posted for sale on the Forum, I got dibs!!) Anyway, I think I remember there being some plastic hanging off the bottom. No guarantees.
Mike, I'm in Baja and won't be up north till around T-Day. Still not sure of the date. But, if you're going to be in the area, you're more then welcome to swing by and pick 'em up as they are outside. If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you directions and tell the neighbors to back off on the lock and load.
OCLV, great idea. We're less then two hours apart and I've got a couple of places I'm sure you'd like. Let's make it happen after snow melt.

Re: Free Bumpers
Well, I'll be back in Blairsden for the month of March and the bumpers are still available. Then I'm gone again till June. If anyone wants the bumpers, let me know. If they don't go in March, I'll post 'em again in June and then they go to the dump.

Re: Free Bumpers
Are the bumpers worth something to a metal recycling business?
...before you send them to the demp, send them back into the use in some fashion...

Re: Free Bumpers
Scatter, interested in your bumpers. I am out in Utah. Looks like they are still available? I have a friend in Chico, I will see if I could get him to possibly head out there. I am currently converting my van to 4x4 and would love some chrome bumpers instead of the ugly grey ones that are on it right now.
thanks
jjohnny
