A buddy of mine did that with a Chrysler minivan in Ensenada... It had over 200k and was on it's 3rd transmission, that went out, yet again. (Imagine that, a Chrysler minivan with a bad transmission...)
He left the keys and a note in the front seat, he and his boys grabbed their luggage took a cab to the border
I hope somebody picks it up and tries to save it. At least from that view, no body damage, no rust, high top. Could be decent project for somebody with time, as long as there's no chemical or biohazard surprises inside...
Not mine but found it in the barter section. Looks like the same van except the guy wants 3k or equivalent trade! Sent the original link to a buddy of mine but he was too late to go get it!
Does anybody have experience w/ propane powered vehicles (especially a van like this)? From what I know they're used primarily in fleets that have known access to refueling stations, but as a personal vehicle I'd be curious what the typical range is on a full tank...
There are more propane filling locations than CNG and electric stations. Most gas stations have them. Rental yards City and county services. Propane is alot more locatable than all the other fuel sources other than gas and diesel!
