FS: CCV Mid Height Pop Top for EB - Take Off - Complete

Well, we are finally going to bite the bullet and make the switch from the Mid Height CCV Pop Top we have very much enjoyed for six plus years and going to experience the CCV High Pop Top. We have come close to switching a few times but for various reasons it was put off. This time we are committed.

So, our Mid Height Pop Top, frame, etc. is all coming off and a complete new CCV High Pop Top is going on Beastie next month. I do not think another CCV take off top has ever come up for sale, so this is likely a one time opportunity to save some $$ and get a CCV Mid Top for an EB Econoline.

Our Mid Height Pop Top (the very first CCV mid height top made for the Econolines was installed mid 2015) will come with pretty much everything needed to install. The electric lift top comes with the Four Season insulation added to the inside of the top, the insulated canvas with six zip down screens and windows for full open feeling, Yakima/Thule roof mounted tracks, Go Power solar wire Pass Through (under solar panel), canvas, lifting frame and actuators, electrical relay panel, six LED roof lights on dimmer switch, and remote control for lift unit. No holes for roof fan have been cut in. The fiberglass is solid with no cracks, spidering/crazing or leaking. The Solar Panel and Yakima Mega Warrior are NOT included.

Considerations: The top is painted to match Beastie's Ford Parchment Gold color. The paint is over five years old and is fading (Our new top will be in color matched Raptor) The bulb seal is in very good condition except for a a couple of small cuts behind the awning brackets. Bed platforms panels and cushions will NOT be included as we are keeping ours. Canvas is in excellent condition but re-installing the existing canvas presents some installation challenges. A new canvas could be considered - we can discuss this.

Exterior height of the roof is 11 inches above the gutter and the roof extends from just behind the windshield all the way to the rear gutter.

Interior height with the top up is ~ 8 feet, and easy full sit up in bed. Interior height with top down is ~ 60" to the top, 51" under the bed platforms. Bed is 54" wide edge to edge of the cushions and there is another 2+ inches to the canvas. Lifting capacity for on roof storage is about 70lbs. Static roof down storage is almost whatever is safe for a load that high up. I have stood on the roof rack with the top fully up. Crosswind stability of the raised roof is exceptional. The Canvas will flap in high winds but the roof is solid.

Pricing - A new CCV Mid Top for an EB with the adds ours has runs around $19k installed, or about $17K DIY plus wait time of about four months. Our used top will save you quite a bit over the DIY pricing -
Price will be discussed privately.

PM/call/text (if you have my number) me if you are interested. I have installed a few of these so you get my experience for DIY guidance.

Pick-up is at CCV Loveland, CO after mid July. Transport back towards CA may be possible but will be added cost for trailer and some fuel.

Pictures, let me know if you want any other info/pics:

Hey, nice pic! In case anyone was wondering, that’s me, Arctictraveler and 1der, I think that’s on the bluff spot south of San Felipe where we planted the memorial for Ramsey.

Damn, would have hopped on this a year ago but went the high top route.

These hardly ever pop up for sale (unlike the SMB tops), so someone will be pretty happy.
