Recently sold two vans. They went within a week of posting. If you are looking for one, be ready to get on the road or on a plane quick.

Except most sh*t vehicles can find qualified mechanics in every small town. Not so with the 6.0. It just costs too much in equipment just for diagnosis. You're only chance of finding one down there is probably a big city where they are using E-series ambulances. Even a Navistar shop might not have the Ford interface needed, although they can probably source all parts once you figure out what's wrong.

This ^^^^

And it's also a good reason to not try to take a relatively new Sprinter (diesel or gas) down there.

I’m not sure this is 4x4. Nice rack for surf boards.

Those both look to be 4x4.

Just get an 03ish van with the 7.3. You'll get decent mileage, great power, and a super robust rig. If you have $80k, bank the rest. I wouldn't consider a gas rig unless it was half the cost. Nothing like adjusting the tune to turn into a freight train uphill. My $.02

You can buy a brand new ModVans CV1 with RV financing, insurance and warranty starting in the low 80s. I would be interested to learn about available new Ford warranty service in Mexico.
