Going to Pick & Pay ?

Greetings --

I've got a 2002 E350 Ford van - silver metallic paint - seeking a driver side grab handle - if anybody out there goes "shopping" at 'Pick & Pay" salvage yard and comes across one - standard gray color trim throughout -- mounts to "B" pillar at windshield/door area. Would be grateful if anyone comes across one with mounting hardware, etc., in very good condition ! Would reimburse and pay shipping !

Thanks for reading and looking !

I should have mentioned that grab handle is/should be at 8 inches in overall length -- which would match the passenger grab handle -

Thanks again --

I also wanted a driver side handle. I have a 2001 E250 and found there was no driver side handle available. I think they started including them later on.. 2005 maybe? Also, the passenger side handle isn't symmetrical - it wont just flip over to the other side. So, I gave up on the idea. Maybe someone has found a way to shoehorn one in and will let us know.

@Doublevan2, do you mean the interior grab handle on the A pillar? As in between the windshield and the front doors?

I've never seen a factory handle on the B pillar, which would be the ones at your shoulders where seatbelts are mounted.

You can flip the passenger side handle if you grab the bracket and have a rivnut tool.

See these two posts.

Awesome! Thanks for the links. Now I remember - it was somehting about the bracket not working and the angles being wrong. I'll take another look at it.

Looking at your photos, now I recall the issue.. the top of the bracket is closer to the pillar than the bottom. I'm guessing that keeps the handle at the preferred angle relative to the pillar. But that bracket geometry gets reversed when the bracket is moved to the left side. Looks like you made it work anyway - nice job.
