GONE: Free! in SF Bay Area: Fiamma 10' Awning

Hello SMB friends!

Thank you again to @1der for his help installing my new Fiamma 45s awning.

@1der suggested I pay it forward with the old awning that the new one replaced.

This is a circa 2001 10' awning that SMB installed when new. It was working great until a big wind came up last summer and blew the awning over the rig, thus bending/warping the aluminum case. Pulley mechanism, legs and awning fabric are/were all in good shape. There is now a small tear in the fabric like an inch long, I'm sure it can be repaired...or frankly a piece of duct tape would do the trick.

My sense is that someone handier than myself could bend this back into straight, or use it for parts on your 2001-ish Fiamma awning. The original mounting brackets were bent and we got rid of them, but you can get new mounting brackets from Fiamma for pretty cheap.

Or I'll take it to the dump, but thought I'd give it a bit of time here.

If the ad is still up, it's still available. I'm in Marin County. PM if you want to come get it. Pics below.

FYI, parts are likely available and pretty cheap.

I just contacted Fiama USA today looking for various replacement parts and they told me the parts are not available. I'd like to get the whole left leg assembly (looking at the awning from the outside) and right end cap (over the crank).

I sent a PM.
