Great deal on a Sprinter SMB if it isn't a scam

IT'S A SCAM!!!!! Posted in NY too, definitly a scam

https://jackson.craigslist.org/rvs/5868458965.html

https://syracuse.craigslist.org/rvs/5872108612.html

A great condition, extremely well cared for and well optioned motorhome. The 3.0 liter 6 cylinder turbo diesel in this rig stands head and shoulders above the smaller 5 cylinder engine used in many lower tiered machines. What this means is longevity, (half million miles? no problem) economy, 20mpg is the ongoing average (the engine effortlessly pulls this rig at highway speeds, sips fuel) and POWER. (Hills? WHAT hills! Pull a cargo/motorcycle/ATV/boat/vending/WHATEVER trailer? Bring it on!)The well matched 5-speed automatic is always in the correct ratio. The tires are nearly new, less than 6 months old, 90% tread. Sleeps 5, or fewer. Propane heat, and all the bells and whistles. There is a storage location for a portable toilet, but never implemented. 86,384 well cared for miles. The paint is recently touched up to address some stone chips.

Warning: No phone number, one pic, unbelievably low price. It's probably a scam but may be worth trying for.

What is the point of listing it for $10,000? It makes the scam look too fishy.

No doubt the scammer knows nothing about it, only that he's playing the chances of someone biting on the same old scam. All you have to know how to do it copy and paste someone else's ad/pics from somewhere. I emailed them. I'll post the response. It will be even more obvious then.

How does this scam work?

Just curious so that I don't get victimized sometime in the future

Probably something like: Send money to some account in another country and I'll ship you the vehicle.

I saw it on craigslist in NC too:
20O8 SPORTSMOBILE Gaucho

I bit on a suspected "too good to be true" sale and the only thing they insisted on was my actual email address instead of the craigslist "anonymized". I think it was more for spamming purposes, but not sure.

I also believe some of these scam ads note down your email and sells your active email address to businesses. The businesses then start spamming you with viagra sale emails.
