I’d like to revive the group buy.

I’d be in for a 10’ Deep Black 45S. Preferably lefty (to be away from the doors) and preferably Royal Blue if no extra costs.

Location: Bay Area, CA

Rough lead time would be?

Hi E350, thanks for checking in on this thread!

The F45s comes in three case colors Black, White and Titanium (Silver). All ovebtyd crank on the right side, there is no left side from Fiamma. b The awning material is standard in the gray across all the awnings. Any other fabric would be a one off with a near six month lead-time, if they will do it. As you probably know, these awnings come from Italy.

The white case looks great on white vans. The Titanium/Silver looks great on silver vans. The Black looks great on everything else, and, of course will work well with White and Silver. See pics I have included.

Re: availability - I can check on how quickly a Black F45S 10ft can ship. A couple of weeks ago they had just received a container and could ship out in a week. That provided the batch headed to SoCal. A single awning to the Bay Area is going to have a shipping cost of $270 to a commercial address / $340 to a residential address. Each additional awning shipped in that same shipment to the same address is $30. So, if we can get 4 awnings to ship together including yours, the shipping is $360 or about $90 each to commercial address or $110 each to a residential address.

So, any other Bay Area people looking for awnings? It can be any Fiamma model - F45S/ F80S / etc. - Econoline, Chevy Transit, Sprinter, Jeep, etc. I have brackets for Pop top Econoline and Chevy's, Fiamma has brackets for most every stock roof van.

E350 - How soon do you want an awning?

Ok, so it is: black case, grey fabric and 10’.

I can wait a few weeks, not super urgent. Still got to plan my roof rack, what to attach to it, how to do it (holt on or rain gutter, unistrut or 80/20,…). But the awning is a request of my personal government at home and needs to come in before I can plan a new bed/ floor plan [emoji23]

Next bigger trip is planned for summer.

This is why I kicked it off now already, expecting a certain wait time.

Thinking about attachment:
How far can the awning be behind the rain gutter?
I like the idea of attaching it to the roof rack instead of using additional brackets to the gutter.

And I want to have the rack as slim as possible. In best case following the angle of the side windows…

Instead of this, hanging “over the edge”

Well, if you are using towers off the gutter for your rack, those will dictate how far in you will be able mount an awning. AND, as import are the cross bars for the roof rack. If the bars extend outside of the gutter then the mounting brackets, then the lower edge of the bar will likely limit how high the top of the awning case will mount.

hope that helps.!
