I've decided to go with the Thule Hideaway instead. The prices is $919 including shipping (no tax from Crutchfield) and it's pretty much identical. The European version is the Thule Omnistor and the reviews comparing that to the Fiamma pretty much say they are comparable. I've been unable to easily get parts for my current Fiamma and I figure Thule could be no worse.

Well, there are two of you in AZ that want awnings, so that at least cuts the shipping cost from $190 ish to $110 a piece to the same address. The awnings are about $850, does not matter how many are ordered, the savings is in shipping multiple units to the same commercial address.
