Will this unit clear the "no start" feature on the Mercedes diesel after a DEF malfunction?

ICarSoft

I’m going to assume it does but I’m by no means an expert. I bought it new as it was the most highly recommended unit and it cost less than one diagnostic hr at the local MB dealer. No brainer for me.

I'm replacing my sensor but I cannot figure out how the connection comes apart. I've tried pulling, but it doesn't budge. Any help would be appreciated.
