I guess I have special limited edition adjustable arms.
I'll have to make my own set. Would be nice to have the extra clearance for 35's

I know this guy has built some in the past. I was thinking on hitting him up if mine ever start to crack. His shop isn't to far from my place.

What do you all think a fair price would be for a set of adjustable A-arms?

Depends on from whom... reputable builder who understands custom suspension components? $1000 or so.

No more cracked arms

I just tig welded this set for my 2002 Quigley E350! I used 0.120" wall DOM tubing for the uppers and 0.250" wall DOM tubing for the lowers (enhanced crush protection). They are adjustable with grease-able Johnny Joints on the axle side for extra articulation. Ride quality is still maintained better than if a heim joint was used. Alignment is spot on after the install as well! I'm in Salt Lake City if anyone else is interested in a set.

those look great, nice work!

what’s the cost for a set? do your tires hit them? most of the sets I’ve seen people do have a bend in the lower arms to clearance some space for tires when at full lock.

Thank you!

I do not have any rubbing. I do have 265/75R16 tires so that may also help compared to 33” or 35” tires. Quigley told me the reason for the bend was for legality/compliance with safety and crash laws that required the arms to have a crush area where the original arms were straight.

They can be configured a few different ways for pricing, but a set like this would be about $1000. And could go up or down depending on the links used.

curious how ride quality is better with johnny joints over a heim joint...thinking of just rewelding my channel back on or building custom adjustable ones. I do have a tire rubbing problem, but does pushing the axle forward run into other issues with the crossmember or other steering/suspension components?
