My father died a few years ago.

He'd been receiving hospice services and on that particular night his death was imminent.
It became a late night vigil for my sister and me.

My dad had held strong religious views, so the hospice representative called in a generic chaplain to his bedside.
The chaplain inquired about my dad's life and religious views, then asked if we had specifics we wanted included in her prayer...

"Yes, I've always wanted a 4x4 van!"
I replied.

Nevertheless, I ended up with a two wheel drive.

It presents a theological puzzle that leaves me wondering if my father selected the wrong denomination, or if the chaplain somehow routed her prayers to the wrong deity altogether.

Better luck with your search.

Tammiea, ya'll will score your 4x4 van. Just stay alert and keep looking...

zardac,
...I wanted to make sure I understood this: the chaplain asked you about prayers for your dying father; you asked for a van for yourself.
I 'm guessing you got Exactly what she prayed for...

I've got mine for sale on this forum. A 2002 Chevy Quigley low top explorer conversion van with 160K miles, asking $10K. I realize your looking for something with less than 100K miles, but for the money you could put a new engine in (not that it needs it) and still come out better than what you'll likely pay for something else.

The 7.3L is a good motor. Long lasting and cheap maintenance.

Garage
This might be a bit of a hike to pick up ----
--- but a pretty nice Quigley Chevy posted yesterday that's in Mammoth, CA.

Insulated and reasonable miles.
Looks like solid 4x4 van build platform.

Tammiea,

I'll be posting VANdiana Jones up for sale very soon if you're interested. You'd have first dibs as this is the first thread where I've posted about him going up for sale.

2007 Ford E-350 SuperDuty 6.0L turbo diesel V8("bulletproofed"), 5R110 5spd, UJOR 4x4, under 91,000miles, very well loved.

Yes, we are still looking. Not in a big hurry, so still trying to sort things out. I can't see your photos? We are also questioning the 6.0L.

Most of the 6.0L problems have been worked out in these vehicles by now. I wouldn't refrain from buying a well taken care of one.
