A cream puff. Mechanic's special. A fixer upper. A rotten piece of... Looks like the penthouse shrunk.

Her garage door opening is just about 84"

Re: the above rust bucket....I'd be tempted to park that in my carport, just to deter burglars. They'd see that and know I had nothing of value worth stealing!

That seller has sold two other SMB in the last few months. The other two were Fords and priced right - this Dodge seems way over priced.

Thanks gang,

The Portland CL ad is for the same rig as the EBay one.....and the EBay ad has lots of pictures if you scroll down far enough.....including some scary, honest shots of the rusty as heck underside of the van.

Youch!

That's life up in the big wet, I guess!

Hi,

I went through those eBay photos. There is nothing there anywhere near scary. The driveshaft has a haze of surface rust, the muffler is factory, and the bottom of the non factory original running board has some surface rust. The front engine crossmember has some surface rust as well. I am unable to locate any section of the frame or floor pan that was painted at the factory where rust has taken root. There is no rust at the roof to drip rail clips. None below the doors.

Where I come from, having bought 6 Dodge vans from Washington to Tennessee to Texas, all except one with very low miles, call that Sportsmobile a cream puff. Overpriced for sure, but a true cream puff.

I'm not sure what gbail expects for a van built 18 years ago with an intended lifespan of 8 years at most.

Regards,

Gavin
