Did this come off a wrecked van? Seems like I saw this one before and someone indicated the fiberglass was pretty damaged.

I am just going off of memory and could very easily be wrong. Not try to offend you at all.

As stated, this is a used top, bones are good.
Not a new top, Sportsmobile has new ones

It would be helpful to know why you passed on it, especially since you said you’d take it (instead of saying you’d look at it first). Just curious since it is clear it is used and needs some work.

Excellent question...
Likely expectations of a new unit rather than a used unit that needs work, the bones are good but needs work.
If I can find a van to put it on, I will gladly use it.
Hard to find and worth restoring...
You know how it is, some peoples expectations are beyond their budget
