How do you quantify "strength and durability?
Both are more than "strong" enough and share many parts or are the same size.
Neither really have failures.

The strength difference is the Dana 50 ring and pinion and 30 spline shafts are rated for 500ft/lbs less than a Dana 60. Not really an issue unless you are running lower transfer case gears or super low R&P gears with big tires. For desert running this really isn't an issue for rock crawling it can be.
