Rack Attach Swing out arm

Hello Folks,

I have a lightly used RAK ATTACH rear swing out arm for bike racks ect. .

I cant use my Rak Attach anymore as I have an aluminess box in the rear.

This swing out worked great for our bikes, but is no longer needed.

LInk is here https://www.1up-usa.com/product/rakattach/

Retail is $459

Asking $300 local pickup in San Diego.

Rack comes with the anti sway bracket and the swing out.

In perfect working order and used for less than a year.

Can't you use a hitch extender? Might be too wobblily though.

Rak Attach, says that extenders cannot be used with this product on their website. Only knew because I researched these a couple years ago.

I had the same issue with swing-away hitches and our rear box and spare tire (Alumpiness rear bumper). Eventually purchased a North Shore Rack NSR-2. I still had to use an 8” extender, but the setup works beautifully. @Lcavelletti, what bike rack did you decide on?

I have the bike rack that almuniness provides over the box. so its the rear bumper with two 1 up bike rack cages on top of it. If I have 4 bikes. I can add the double 1up to the rear extender I have on the hitch or put it on my front hitch.

Aluminess doesn't have a 1-Up rack for the rear box for the Transit when the box is on a bumper swing out arm. My only option would have been to replace the bumper mounted swing out arm and attach a new arm to the rear door hinges. I liked my rear bumper setup better. 1-Up makes a great bike rack though!
