I have a random question: why do they put the microwave above the fridge and the fridge basically on the floor? Why not the micro down low since its not used as often as the fridge?

Agreed. One would use the fridge more, and I would hate crawling down to look into it. However, I think having the micro up high minimizes spilling. Maybe easier to secure a fridge to the floor...

Also, a loaded fridge will be heavier than an empty microwave. Lower center of gravity. And, I suppose, it'll be a lil cooler nearer the floor, not sure that was taken into consideration.
