I really like that layout - nice and open through the van. Sometimes I think they did a better job with the layouts years ago than they do these days.

Somewhat agree, but I think blocking 1/2 of the door space is also not desired. I have a specific reason, but really it opens the van up way more to outside, which is desirable IMO.

I am interested in this van but would like to know more about the condition. Most importantly the running and driving condition of engine, drivetrain, brakes etc. Would also help to know if all camper systems are in working order.

The van runs really well. I have not had to do any major work on the engine. The van was in covered storage a lot of the time. I live in HI now but I have a RV guy in Amarillo taking care of the van. He has checked all camping systems and they are ok. He did have the 2 house batteries replaced. He also had some work done on the emergency brake so it would pass state inspection. I can ask him to give me more detail about what was done. I am on my way to Amarillo to make sure the van is ready. Email is the most reliable way to communicate with me till I get to Amarillo.

I checked the paperwork and the rear brake shoes were replaced and the parking brake was checked. This was done to pass state inspection.

To reply to the comment about blocking the said door. The passenger seat swivels and there is a pop up table on the side of the cabinet so you can sit in the passenger seat and put your plate on this table. That way I could leave the bed made up and sit in the passenger seat. The window opens on the side door so it's a nice place to sit and eat.
