This van is really nice. Previous owner was the original owner, and kept it up very well (retired Air Force officer). He and his wife sold it to me in order to get something larger for full time use.

Everything is in great condition, 4x4 system is good, and I had it all checked out by a mechanic who said it needed nothing other than brake fluid flush (seriously, I was shocked that any mechanic couldn't find some way to make some money, but that's a testament to the condition of this van). It really does drive like a much younger van.

The only known issues are small: some rock chips on lower body (see pics), couple of cracks in the laminate on the gaucho bed (see pics), small dent in rear bumper (see pics), some stains on marine flooring, and the new piezo igniter for fridge is a little unreliable but propane works well using lighter.

Just passed smog, clean CA title.

Disclaimer: Bought this van for my brother and nephew to use on their big trip through Colorado this summer.. I then fixed a few things and am reselling it now, and hope to make a few bucks.

That's nice! Gaucho has the extension AND the cutout for maximum comfort!

Re: For Sale: 2000 4x4 V10 SMB RB33 with Penthouse Top $38,5

I and 1derGirl drove this van from Denver to SF to help out rallypanam. We had the opportunity to check it out up close and personal for a week.

This is a really sweet, super tight rig that had me really amazed on many fronts. First it is a Quigley that actually rides very comfortably as something was definitely done to improve the suspension. Second, the 55 gal of tankage plus what seems to be remarkable fuel mileage for a V10 provided really great range. I personally put gas in it and was really surprised at the efficirncy! Third, really clean and well laid out, love the walk through and lots of storage.

This is one to seriously consider! And no, I am not getting paid for this endorsement, I was truly impressed.

I've never seen another 3 piece bed. Interesting. Oh, and pretty van too. Good luck with the sale.

I don't know what springs they are, so I didn't include it in the ad, but the front springs are taller than 'stock' Quigley, and hence the van doesn't hit the bump stops every little bump like other Quigley's...

Yes, the extension fits into the cutout when in 'couch' mode, and then adds into foot of bed (or head I guess) for extra length.

Hi we are interested in the Sportsobile just a few questions as tourists (Australians) can we buy a car from a private seller. And what are the formaiities . The SM dealer said they could arrange this for us.
Thanks in advance don't want to waste your time if we can ONLY buy from a dealer . Great looking Van cheers Roland

You can definitely buy from me. Several other international folks have purchased vans in the US and either exported them or obtained registration over here. Sheriffdoug here on the forum would be one person, he's from Perth.

If you are interested, PM me.
