Some people have been interested in some more interior shots so here you go. Yesterday I snapped a few shots while I was in the process of giving it a good cleaning. I took the carpet out during the cleaning process but it is back in now.

Grad school in the 70's? Is that where the term "higher" education came from?

'fraid not. I've only driven through Tennessee once, while driving home to California from DC right after 9-11. Beautiful state.

It is a beautiful state as long as you stay out of the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg cluster $#%!...I visited gburg 10 years ago and then again 1 week ago...Even more Ripley's Believe it or Not's have sprung up as well has helicopter tour operations, etc...I couldn't help thinking to myself, "what have I gotten myself into here?" If all else fails Utah will always be there, hopefully...

Undergrad: Ohio University
Grad: Ohio University (what? I didn't want to waste any time and got out of the GRE's by staying a couple of extra years.)

Are there seat belts on the bench seat? I know there are in the newer ones but..... Any known issues with the rig?
Thanks

Veggie,

I know you told me you were thinking about selling your SMB, but didn't think you were serious. You could use the hell out of it in the Smokey Mts and over at the coast. I've been shopping the hell out of pop-up campers for our new truck and nothing comes close to the off-road durability of the SMB (except, perhaps Alaskan, but they are so damn butt-ugly). Something to think about Veg-a-matic. Once its gone, its gone. Well, enjoy your new surroundings. Nice area that.

There are seat belts in the bench seat but I'm not sure how many. They are pushed down into the space behind the seat. I would guess is at least 3. No known issues...The van is running great.

deminimis...I know, I know...The van is great, looks tough, is loaded with options and I'm sure I'll miss it but I don't even have a place to store it now...Not even a driveway. So it just sits on the street in front of my house. I might just focus on my new hobby, exploring the Smokies on my BMW F650GS Dakar.
