SOLD - 2001 RB50 4x4 TurboDiesel For Sale

The time has come to sell our beloved Sportsmobile. His name is Burt. He is great but we are just not hanging out with him enough since our 1 1/2 year old son came along. Burt is in wonderful condition. I just spent a ton of money replacing tires, Lifeline battery, coating the bumpers, etc. so I am asking $65,000. Please let me know if you have questions.

Thanks,
Mike

Hey Mike,

I know I sent you an email.... I am *still* trying to convince my wife on your SMB. But it appears to be a tough sell

SMB for sale

Mike, a very good looking vehicle! I tried to get my wife to go for a red SMB, but no dice.

Red. It's not subtle by any means, but then again, neither is a lifted, 4x4 E350, let alone a diesel.

Personally, I like red!

Hey All,

Thanks for the comments. Yes, a shiny red SMB can be a tough sell until your wife experiences it in person. My tactic was a candlelit dinner in the SMB up in the mountains. She fell in love.

By the way I live in Boulder, Colorado if anyone would like a showing. I also posted several more pictures in my photo album.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks for the interest Dan. Unfortunately yesterday evening Burt and I parted ways. He looks like he will be happy with his new owner. Lots of TLC, no major off-roading. The new owner said I could check on him now and again since he lives in Boulder too. Feels like I sold a family member.

SMBs are awesome, I will probably be in the market again in a few years. Thanks again for everyone's interest in Burt.

Best,
Mike
