Re: FOR SALE 2001 Sportsmobile EB-50 Penthouse 4X4 Camper V

Sorry to hear the deal fell through.

Not to pry, but was it not a good match, or were the buyer's finances not ready to go? Lack of ready-to-go finances scuttled a few prospective buyers when I was selling.

That's pretty harsh! He's probably just working his way through all the interested parties, and as a former seller I know you have to make judgement calls of which potential buyers get priority.

And BTW, what kind of scam would it be for a 'seller' never to get back to potential customers, or potential scam-ees?

Re: FOR SALE 2001 Sportsmobile EB-50 Penthouse 4X4 Camper V

I'd go with inundated on the seller's part, but I get Jeff's frustration- there are two threads full of people begging to buy this van. I feel like whoever quipped feeding frenzy in the first thread had it right.

I hope somebody here gets it, it's damn pretty. What I'd really like to see is it not go to a flipper- it would be a shame to see it come back for $65K and sit forever. I mean, it is a 2001, cloth, quigley, non-Aluminess bumpers- I think it's worth every bit what les is asking, but (personally) not 20K more than what he is asking.

Anyway...

Just a courtesy call would be nice...

Completely agree about the courtesy call. I've been a buyer and seller, and can't tell you how many times the other party never got back to me, even if it's just a 'sorry, it sold' message.
