these are a transformer seat concept done by MG Metalworks now Expovans. Upholstery was tough and by a bay area pro. Turned out awesome.

Expovans.com in OR but be warned they are neck deep in sorting out a transit 4wd conversion right now. Let MG know you saw his transformer seat. It was kind of a one off and I think there proved to be little market for them. He does all his work in solidworks so you may be able to work something out. The concept started re-imagining the ADA flipseat (wheelchair position) on busses. Do a search on that and you may find some hardware that gets you on your way.

Upholstery was a PIA, done by Cooks in the Bay Area. At the end of the day these seats were a big investment.

So you're the guy who he did that seat for. I remember that project. That is sweet.

Glad to hear you're going Transit but after the 7.3 you may wear out the starter. You'll constantly key the ignition because you'll forget it's running or think it has died at stoplights.

Good looking van. Do you know what type of material your counter is fabricated out of?

Countertop was made with king starboard. It is a HDPE marine building material. The countertop is 1 1/4” thick. The fridge lid is bamboo. Material is very easy to work with but is on the heavy side. If you select hdpe for countertop you have to have a good method to secure from below as the material will bow if not well secured.
