SOLD: 2003 Ford E-250 Sportsmobile, $35,000

I bought this Sportsmobile last November to replace the one I sold in October. I hoped it would be easier for camping with my health restrictions. But I was wrong. Sadly, my van camping days are over. My loss is your gain.

It's a 2003, two-wheel drive, gas, Ford E-250, 5.4L V8.

It has a simple floorplan that includes:
• penthouse top
• solar panel
• new $400 house battery
• Fima 45 awning
• Three sliding side windows, one pop-out window
• two gaucho couches that fold into a bed, two matching pillows
• SMB table
• sink with hot/cold water
• Thetford porta potti
• microwave
• single burner propane stove
• cupboards
• swivel passenger seat
• bug screens for side and back cargo doors
• 30/125 power cord
• water hoses

I added running boards and tinted the windows.

The van has 125,500 miles on it. It was well-maintained by the previous owner and has all of the documentation of regular maintenance. Selling for $35,000. The van is in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Not yet. A few inquiries, but no one has taken a look yet. But it is a pretty basic SMB.

I thought your SMB would sell quick! It is really clean, well taken care of with a great price.

Me too. Great looking van. When it comes to these machines, I think "pretty basic" (as you put it) is an advantage, not a disadvantage.

Thanks for the encouragement and support. There's also one other possibility. I've learned in my life that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, the thing we want most is not the thing that is best for us. I've been blessed in my life that when my desires or dreams have not been achieved, it's because something better was waiting around the corner or because it wasn't the right thing or best thing for me at that time. Since it's unusual that an SMB would not sell quickly, perhaps I'm supposed to hold on to my SMB for a while longer. But I'll keep it on the market a little longer to see what the future holds.
