Our extended vacation is drawing to a close, and we will be returning to Europe between the middle and end of August 2013. If you are interested in purchasing the Sprinter, please inform me (on this forum or at this email address: drjvu-sprinter@yahoo(dot)de) of your interest

We are asking $48,000.

* It has a 3.0 liter V6 turbo-charged diesel engine with 5-speed automatic.
* We have been getting 22-24 mpg highway and 20-22 mpg city.
* Extended Mercedes warranty covering engine and drive train for 5 years/100,000 miles.
* Color: Arctic white, upholstery lima black fabric.

- * Penthouse expandable top with removable bed (sleeps two adults) and five big windows with zippered screens and shades (at front and sides of penthouse).
* One gaucho seat for four people with four seat belts, with storage compartment below seat. This is easily converted into a bed that sleeps two adults.
* On the driver's side there is one full sized window that has the lower portion openable and has insect screens.
* All windows (except front windshield) are tinted.
* Two interior shelves, left and right sides with reading/utility lights.
* Two storage cabinets with shelves. One removable pantry.
* One solar panel (max output 7A), includes Blue Sky controller.
* One privacy curtain behind driver's cab.
* Curtains/shades for side and rear windows.
* Marine deck floor.
* Interior panelling with insulation on walls, ceiling, doors, and floor.
* 15A exterior electrical outlet hookup (for external electricity supply at campsites).
Currently we have 27,000 miles and expect to have approximately 3000 more by the transfer-to-purchaser date. By the transfer the van will also have had the 30,000 mile major maintenance check-up by Mercedes that checks really everything you can imagine. The car has been serviced according to Mercedes warranty requirements at authorized Sprinter dealers. All paperwork is available (and is in the computers at the authorized Sprinter dealers). We just bought two new tires and will be buying two more before the transfer date. As of this writing, the car has not been involved in any accidents. Exterior and interior look like new. All upholstery has been constantly covered and therefore is also like new. The Sprinter is really spotless!
If you purchase the Sprinter and wish to modify it (e.g. adding a refrigerator and/or kitchen) there is ample space available as the van now stands. Sportsmobile will actually add/change anything you desire (and can pay for!).
Since we are still on the road, we have neither regular internet nor cell phone access, but you may email or call and leave a message, since we ckeck both at each opportunity.
Finally, The pickup/transfer location is Portland, OR, but it is probably possible to change this to another location in California, Oregon, Washington or Nevada -- if it is in or near a city with a major airport.
