SOLD:2013 MB Sprinter 2500 High Roof 144" WB fully equipped

2013 MB Sprinter 2500 High Roof 144" WB fully equipped, 42k miles, 4-seater, $75,000, North Carolina

About the Conversion
Recently converted- almost all components are either new or less than 5k miles old.

The design principle of this adventure van is "lightweight, modular, and adaptable" to be used for an adventure van, house van, work van, or any combination!

This is the 144" short wheelbase 3.0L Turbo Diesel version, shorter and lighter of the two common Sprinter vans, with the best maneuverability, fuel efficiency, and great towing capacity to get you wherever the road takes you. And unlike motorhomes, campers, and permanent house-style vans, all cabinets, kitchenette, bench seat, awning, and adjustable height bed can be removed and/or repositioned either by hand or with a single wrench within minutes. There are also infinite attachment points for hooks, accessories, and tie-downs in the slotted aluminum and L-tracks throughout the adventure van.

All of the equipment is top-end and nearly new, including 300 Amps of lithium batteries, solar panels, Espar D2 cabin heater, Isotherm fridge/freezer, 2-burner induction cooktop, 30Amp hookup, and rotating seats. The van is equipped with everything needed for an adventure, including accessories such as snow chains, recovery boards, and bug screens.

The van is not registered as an RV and therefore falls under passenger vehicle regulations in most places. The blackout curtains and window coverings make "covert camping" easy. There are some dents and dings in the body but it is rust free- these imperfections don't impact the functionality.

The asking price is very competitive for a low-mileage Sprinter with top-end components (many are still going strong with 400k+ miles). But, we are willing to consider reasonable offers. We have a baby on the way so this baby has to go.

Don't sacrifice your potential adventures by limiting yourself to where a 5 ton RV can drive, park, or hook-up. This adventure van can make tailgating a piece of cake, enable convenient and cheap business travel, and create a simple and fun extra lodging space for family visitors in your driveway. You can utilize the 400Watts of solar panels for free electricity by running an extension cord to your house and even have an instantly available backup electric source in the case of power failure to your home. And most importantly, you can still explore the back roads, drive up the mountains or stroll along the oceanside, camp silently on the scenic roadside or comfortably within tent campgrounds, and with a portable shower and toilet, find your family in an off-the-grid retreat in even the remotest wilderness.
