Re: 2003 EB-50 High Top V-10 2wd

Thank you for the interior height response and detail on rear axle. She is a great rig but for some reason I have chinook fever. I will probably regret the sale.

If you decide to sell the flares separate I would likely take them.

Thanks,

I guess you were serious about selling. I wish your SMB was closer to what I needed, we could work out a trade. I'll most likely be selling the Chinook soon. Good luck.
Tom.

Re: 2003 EB-50 High Top V-10 2wd

I have sold the U-joint goodies to a local person who is converting an 05' Ambo. I had to break it all up just because I think that is a great project.

Tom- I was definitely serious about selling. It makes perfect sense for me. This van is not the right one for you as you have refined your needs and this one just does not fit. Completely understand. You are going to end up being a bad influence on me as I have been daydreaming endlessly after our conversation. For those who don't know Tom did what we have all thought about at least once. He lives in his van down by a river, well sort of.

Someone buy this van and find a spot near a river!

Sorry if I missed it, but where is the van located?

That looks like a great van. Good luck with the sale. It seems like most people are interested in poptops......but man.....I love the Voyager top. We are constantly mentioning how glad we are that we went that route instead of a pop up.

Re: 2003 EB-50 High Top V-10 2wd

BW - Van is just North of Detroit. It is a bit of a hike from Eastern, PA but I am trying to get to Pittsburgh before the end of the month.

BB - Thanks. The pop-tops are great if you are in a dry climate out West but here in Michigan it seems to be cold or raining at least half the time we use it so a fixed top makes perfect sense. The fixed top is also great for changing into my bike shorts or when we stop at a rest area because we can move about inside the van without having to hunch over.

Re: 2003 EB-50 High Top V-10 2wd

Does anybody know if an upper bed (like the PH loft bed) can be added to this? I assume the upper cabinets would have to come out, but does it have the lip around the roof cutout like the PH vans do?

We have to be able to sleep three in total between upstairs and down (my wife and I, and our son).

Check KTMRIDER. He has a voyager top with a bed up there. Or did at one time.
