Tripp Lite Inverter/Chgr from 2006 SMB $50 obo

Hi, All. I have a Tripp-Lite Inverter/Charger model # RV2012UL for sale. I took this item out of my 2006 E350 RB50 Sportsmobile to upgrade to a higher capacity, more modern Magnum Inv/Chgr. Item was in good working condition when I replaced it. Comes with the remote monitoring panel and the communication cable. I'm asking $50 or best offer for it. See pics.

Because this item weighs about 40 lbs I'm not able to ship it. This item is currently in Paso Robles but I'm traveling up and down Calif over the next few weeks so if you're near Reno, Sacramento, Stockton, San Luis Obispo or Southern Calif we can probably work something out. Below's my schedule. PM me with any questions or offers.

thru Sun, Jun 21 am - In Paso Robles, CA
Sun, Jun 21 - drive Paso Robles to Reno , NV, via I-5, I-80
Sun, Jun 21 - Thur Jun 25 am - In Reno
Thu, Jun 25 - drive Reno to Paso Robles, via I-80, I-5
Fri, Jun 26 - drive to Newport Coast, CA
Fri, Jun 26 - Sat, Jul 11 am - In Newport Coast
Sat, Jul 11 - drive Newport Coast to Reno.

Yes very nice offer.
I’m always pleased to see people around here offer fair to more than fair prices to help each other out!
It’s awesome!

I'm in Santa Rosa, which is a stones throw (if you have an arm) from Sacramento. Would love to connect with you for this if possible. -Adam 707-2three5,four204

Hello. Not sure if you still have inverter but my inverter in my 2006 Sportsmoble Van just died and I am in dire need of a new one. I am located in Auburn Ca. and am interested in buying the one you have. It looks like you are in Reno and I would be happy to come to you to pick it up and pay $100. Ron Meyer 530-305-8616

Question Tripp Lite Advice

I am about to replace a failed Tripp Lite inverter/charger on a 2009 build SMB. I haven't exposed it yet, however, I believe it is mounted at floor level, near the outside wall in the cabinet under the sink and some water distribution tubing. How challenging is this going to be? Do you have any advice?

Hi Ron. I’ve already agreed to sell to another forum member with two other members waiting in the wings if the sale doesn’t go through. Just waiting on me to return from vacation and deliver to the buyer. I’ll add yourname to the list but don’t want to give you any false hope. Sorry, wish I had more of these to satisfy everyone.

Hi Maurshir.
Mine is a 2006 SMB RB50. My Tripp Lite inverter/converter was located on the passenger under the rear seat and in between the right rear inner wheel well and the fresh water tank. After I removed the rear seat, and the heater ducting, the inverter was easy to access. Removal was straightforward and the only thing that slowed me down is, after removing all the screws I could see holding the inverter down, I discovered underneath the inverter there’s a channel that slides over a bolt fixed to the floor. I had to slide the inverter (I think backwards) to get it free of the bolt. Hope this helps.
