TW200 1996

I like the TW200 so much I want to buy a new one. That means my current one is up for sale. Asking $2000. Only thing it needs is a new Run/Stop button. New tires, tubes and handle bars. All issues I found when I bought it corrected(all small stuff mostly cosmetic). Runs great and I think a perfect light bike for behind the our vans. Rotopax not included.

Looks nice, I love mine. What tires did you install and do you like them?

Re: TW200 1996

I went with the stock trail wings and they seem fine. Went to Sedona this weekend and they held traction great. I called on a new one and they want $5400 out the door. I might be ok just playing with mine. I do like having the kick start. Just ordered a cyclerack anyway so I can put a box on back. It is a fun little bike.

About the only thing you're going to gain with a new one is a front disc brake, but as you noticed, you'll lose the kicker. I'm pretty sure you can buy the parts necessary for a front disc conversion for less than $3400!

Re: TW200 1996

I was going to buy a new one as well. I went to the dealer and they were closed on Sunday. Later that day, I found my 95 with 1800 miles for $1500 with a rear cycle rack. I am very happy with how that worked out.
It seems like a disc conversion would cost 300-500 depending on whats avaliable and how quick you want them.

Re: TW200 1996

I just bought a parts bike and a ton of new parts off a newer model. It is looking good.
